VPS = virtual private server. Sometimes also called a "root server"
A VPS comes with full "root" or "Administrator" access, so you can install your own software

You can login to your VPS via the Blacknight control panel.
Please ensure you use a STRONG password - weak passwords are easily compromised
If you need to upgrade from one VPS plan to another you can do so from within the control panel, though Blacknight may need to finalise the upgrade for you

We offer Windows powered VPS with Plesk and without it
- currently available with Windows 2003
- Windows 2008 is not available at present
- Free version of MailEnable does NOT have IMAP support
