Currently, concrete5 is not available through the Application Vault at the Blacknight Control Panel.

[edit] Manual Installation

Manual installation of concrete5 is very simple and straightforward.The following instructions are for installing concrete5 on a Linux Hosting Package. Here's what you need to do:

  1. Login to the Blacknight Control Panel at http://cp.blacknight.com.
  2. Click Databases > Add New Database > In the drop-down box, select "MySQL (MySQL databases)" and click Next > Fill out the form, and ensure that "Allow Access from External Hosts" is un-checked and click Next, and Finish.
  3. Download concrete5 from sourceforge.
  4. Upload the contents of the zip (concrete, blocks etc.) to the httpdocs folder. Navigate to concrete/libraries/3rdpart and CHMOD htmldiff.py 755.
  5. Go to the Blacknight Control Panel again > Go to Databases > Click on the database you made earlier > Open a text editor and copy down the following information: Database Name, Internal hostname > Above, you should see a tab "Users", click this > Click on the one user in the selection area > Copy down this information into your text editor: Database User Name, Password.
  6. In your Web Browser, navigate to where you installed concrete5. Under Personal Information: Put in your site name, and your email address. Under Database Information: Put the Internal Hostname into Server. Put the Database User Name into MySQL Username. Put the Password into MySQL Password. Input the Database Name into Database Name.
  7. Make sure that all the information is right, then, click the Install Concrete button.

Concrete5 should now be installed. You'll be brought to a page with your login details. Then, simply go to where you installed concrete /login . When you've logged in, you'll be brought to the Dashboard.
